2.Watch a video of the poem: Seasons of the year

3. What is a poem? Learn about the explanation to it.

4. Match the seasons with the descriptions in the poem.

Step 3 While-reading

1.Read the part of winter and draw a picture in the mind.

2.Read the part of spring and catch the key word to describe spring.

3. Read the part of summer.

1)How is the writer’s summer?

2) Find out what the writer writes about in his sweet summer.

4.Read the part of autumn.

Find out how the writer describes the things and people in this part.

Work in pairs and fill in a table with the information in the poem

Step 4 Enjoying the beauty of the poem

1. Rhyme:1) Find out the rhyming words.

2) Choose the correct rhyme styles.

2.Personification: Work together to find out which sentences contain personification.
