Step 1:导入
笔者呈现一组四季图片,并引导学生展开讨论:If there is only one season left, which season will you choose? Why?

T:There are four seasons in a year. If there is only one season left, which season will you choose? Why?
Ss: Summer./ Spring/ ….
T: Who will choose spring?
S1: I will choose spring, because it’s warm.
T: Yes, it’s warm in spring. We’ve learnt a lot of expressions to describe the weather in spring. Can you find them in our textbook?
引导学生找出课本中描述春天天气状况的句子,并鼓励学生尝试用不同的表达方式介绍春天的天气。
1. The days of spring are windy and bright. (P82)
2. The leaves turn green and the temperatures rises quickly. (P84)
3. Spring is warm and sunny. (P85)

Step2: 理清文本脉络
Task板块的短文I Love Winter共分4段,笔者要求学生运用略读(skimming)策略快速浏览全文,将每个段落与该段的段落大意连线匹配。具体要求如下:
Para 1 a. Feelings
Para 2 b. Activities
Para 3 c. Weather and view
Para 4 d. Favorite season
(Keys: Para 1—d; Para 2— c; Para 3— b; Para 4— a)
在完成匹配任务之后,笔者引导学生分析文本句与句、段与段之间的衔接方式,并用思维导图的方式总结如下:
