Teaching process:
Step 1 Warm-up
T: Who is he ? Can you describe him?
T: Would you like to be another Jay Chou? Why?
Step 2 Free Talk
What would you like to be in the future? And why?
What do you want/ hope to be when you grow up? And why?
Talk about your own future plans
Here are useful expressions:
I would like to be …in the future .
I want to be … when I grow up .
I hope to become … when I grow up.
Step 3 Listening
T: Millie is talking t o Amy about her future plans. Can you find out what she would like to do in the future? You can listen to their conversation and put a 'Smile face' in the correct boxes in the table.
T Check the answers.
Step 4 Discussion
T: .Discuss with your partner 'What is Millie like?' and 'What does she want to do?'
