设计理念:以学生为课堂主体,打造真学课堂。
设计思路:1. 在Lead-in这个环节,让学生通过欣赏视频和观看图片,初步感受跟野生动物相关的知识,从而引出本课的主题Helping wild animals,在复习旧知识的同时为新课做好准备。
2. 在Presentation环节,通过听前、听中、和听后三环节的设置,运用任务型教学,巧设听力任务,设置和构筑良好的语言情境,提高获取语言所传达信息的能力。
3. 通过小组的讨论,在此基础上,进而能用英语谈论如何保护野生动物,从而培养学生语用的能力。
教学过程:
Step one :Lead-in
1. Watch a short video of wild animals and ask some questions.
T: Hello! Boys and girls! We watched a video of wild animals. What did you see just now? The more, the better!
S1: Elephant. S2: Camel. S3: Giraffe. ……
T: Among all the animals, which is your favourte ? And why?
S1: I like … best because … .
S2: I like … best because … .
S3: I like … best because …. ……
Ss: … …
T: Today we’ll learn more about wils animals. I believe after this class, you’ll love them more.
设计意图:通过视频展示各种野生动物,创设真实的语言情境,鼓励学生根据实际情况用所学知识进行问答,在复习旧知识的同时并由此引入本课时的主题。
Step two : Presentation—Part A
1. Task 1: Pre-listening.
T: Look at the picture, what animal will we talk about today?
S: Tigers.
T: Yes. Before listening, I’d like all of you to guess the possible keys. Read the information carefully.
S1: I think No. 2 may be yellow.
S2: I think No. 23 may be black.
T: OK, good. Next let’s listen to check

设计意图:让学生阅读课本第63页的关于老虎的信息,一是获取有效信息,对接下来所要听的材料有初步的了解,二是根据考生的现有知识可以对少数的空格进行猜测,优化听前活动,提高听力效果。
2. Task 2: While-listening
(1) Part A1---About tigers.
T: Next we’ll listen to the tape. I’d like No. 4 in each group to write down the answers on the boards.
Play the tape for the students twice to fill in the blanks of A1(tigers).
