Step 1 Daily report
One student gives a talk to the whole class. Then he/ she asks some questions about the talk and other students answer the questions. (Dolphins ﹨Animals are human’s friends—We should make friends with animals as well.)
Step 2 Previewing show
Students check the answers and write down the notes after watching a micro-video:
Step 3 Presentation 1 & practice 1
(1) The teacher presented a famous person called Yao Ming with his pictures:
He is an excellent , hard-working sportsman with a long square smiling face and short black hair.
(2) Students discuss & describe more information about Yao Ming in groups and the group leader reported it out.

The teacher guided into Daniel’s article about his best friend Kate:
Listen & answer the guiding questions.

Friends are important to us in our daily life. We humans should make friends with others as well as animals.
We can get help from friends when we are in trouble ; We can also help friends when they are in need of help.
