Step1 Lead-in
1. Show a picture of climbing the hill and talk about it.
T: Today we’ll learn Unit 3 A day out. If you are free, are you going to have a day out?
2. Show a short video about the wonderful day on 9th May. Let Ss recall their unforgettable experience.
T: Usually what do you like doing if you go out?
S: I like playing football/traveling …
T: I like climbing the hills in my free time. Look! I’m climbing this hill. Every time I feel tired and want to give up, my friend always says, “Come on! You can make it!” So I keep trying until we get to the top of the hill. There, we enjoy ourselves.

S: Maybe he is going to climb a hill.
