Clue of this lesson
The whole lesson is based on the school trip to the World Park. It tells us some time, place, weather, transport, what Linda saw and how she felt. It also tells us some places of interest. Students try to find out the changes of the writer’s feeling during the trip by reading. It’s helpful to enhance the students’ awareness of travelling . Go out, enjoy the trip and love our life.
Meanings of the material
Travelling is not just for fun. It helps us know people, nature, history…. We can open up our eyes, enrich our knowledge, learn more about different countries, different people and different cultures and improve ourselves by travelling.

The reading material is in a form of an email. It is easy for students to read and understand. After reading students can imitate to write a diary about a trip.
