Step1 Revision
We know salad is good for us. You can add anything you like to a salad. Is it healthy to add much sugar? No, it`s not healthy. It`s unhealthy.
Write down “unhealthy”. Explain :By adding a group of letters to the front of an adjectives, we can change its meaning. One of the most common prefixes for adjectives is un-. It means “not”. We add it to some adjectives to give them the opposite meaning.
Step2 Present
We add “un--”
We can also add “in--”, “im---”, to form new words.
Teach and learn. Give models.
Step3 Practise
Brain storm
The students are divided groups of two. One say an adjective, the other spell the opposite form of this word.
Step4 Rules
Help the students gain the rules.

Step 5 Activities
Recommend one student from each group, Give them a card with different prefixes, choose another one student to give an order. When he gives the order ,they should put up the right prefixes. If one of them is wrong, he or she will be out.
Step6 Exercise
Do some exercises to use the prefixes correctly.
