Play the listening material for students to find the answers.

Ask for repetition:
Students listen to the short conversation and learn how to ask for repetition.
Give some other ways:
Sorry, could you repeat. Did you say...?
Sorry, I didn’t quite catch you. You said...?
What did you mean by...?
Five students put on a short play of Columbus and the egg. This will help students to understand the phrase better.
Introduce the festival of Columbus Day to the students.
Students listen to the conversation and work in pairs to practise it.
Discuss about the explorers.
Students discuss the explorers learned in this unit in group of four and then share their brief introductions.
Talk about the good quality of explorers.
Students show pictures and the brief introductions of other explorers that are found on the Internet.
