II. Teaching targets

i. Students will be able to name the places the bottle went and be able to use the adjectives which can express happy and sad feelings.
ii. Students will be able to retell the story and write a new passage according to the structure of the material.

After learning this material by reading (silently & loudly), listening, pair work exercising and group discussion, the students will be able to get a better understanding of what critical thinking is---- see things from a different angle.

IV. Teaching process
(1)Lead in
The teacher will start the lesson with the following three questions:
i. Have you ever been on a journey?
ii. Did you enjoy it?
iii. Who did you went on the journey with?
Then the teacher would lead in the title of this lesson directly by asking the students----
Task 1 Have you ever thought that a common object like a plastic bottle can have a journey?
and start the main tasks.
(2)New lesson
Task 2 Read and Find
Students:
Finish reading the passage in 3 minutes silently. And after reading the passage, name the places the bottle went using the sentence pattern:
The bottle went to ( ).
Teacher:
Give the students clear instructions and draw a map of the journey on the blackboard.
While the students are answering the questions, pin the corresponding tags on the right spot on the blackboard.
