Step 1 Lead—in
1. Show them some pictures and ask :Are the people doing the right or wrong things?
2. Ask students to talk about “What are good manners?”
Step 2 Presentation
Show several examples about manners , ask students to talk about the pictures .
Step 3 Practice
Ask students to use “we should “ and “we shouldn’t” to make a dialogue.
Step 4 Presentation
1. Present the 6 pictures and ask them to answer some questions
2. Ask students to talk about who is doing the right things and who is doing the wrong things.
Step 5 Consolidation
1. Ask students to list the good and bad manners in the library and write them on the blackboard .
2. To use “we should “ , “we shouldn’t” and the sentences on the bb to make sentences again .
Step 6 Listening & retelling
1. Ask students to listen to three records and make some notes on the paper.
2. Let students to repeat the contents in the record while using “we should “ , “we shouldn’t”
3. Ask students to listen to Part B on Page 65 and read the conversation .
4. Ask students to make a similar dialogue.
Step 7 Presentation
1. Ask students to talk about “What do you think of Eddie and Hobo? Do they have good manners?”
