1. Guess the meaning of some new words in the text according to some reading strategies能够根据上下文猜测文中生词意思

2. Get some information from the text according to the reading strategies of skimming and scanning 根据略读和查读阅读策略从文中找出所需要的信息

3. Retell the passage by using the contents of mind-map and pictures学习利用思维导图和图片对文章进行复述

二、学情分析

九年级学生英语学习已经有一定的学习基础了,但是阅读策略和对语言的应用能力依然是需要特别培养的技能。本课是九年级下Unit5 Skiing: An unforgettable experience 这个单元的阅读课,本单元属于九年级复习单元,没有新学的时态或是句型,都是之前学习过的,但本课呈现了一些新的词组如by dying to do sth, check in, keep on doing sth. 等学生需要记忆,学生需要应用一些阅读技巧如预测,略读精读等精准得从原文中查找相关信息,更为重要的是学生需要通过本课学习掌握叙述一篇文章需要包含的六大要素及如何组织好语言让整个文篇流畅逻辑性强。本班学生英语成绩总体为中等水平,所以在教学环节设计和学生活动设计方面采取了照顾各个层面如设置了选择题,思维导图,图片叙述题等教学任务,任务难度层层递进,同学可以通过小组合作、组员互助的形式完成这些教学任务。

三、教学重点:

1. To get the main idea and catch some information of the text by using some reading strategies such as prediction, reference, skimming and scanning. 通过运用一些阅读策略如推测、略读、查读等获取文章的主要意思和重点信息

2. How to describe an experience in a coherent way如何完整地描述一段经历时(需要包含的六大要素)

四、教学难点:

1. Describe what happened in the picture according to the contents of the text 依据课文描述图片内容

2. Retell the text by using the mind-map and the pictures 借用思维导图和图片内容复述课文

2. Look at the title and the photos of the article, then predict what the writer thinks of skiing? Does the writer like it or not?
