Revise Kitty’s trip to Hong Kong Disneyland with the students together ,using some questions . Then another questions ,such as :
Have you ever travelled to any places of interest in China ? What did you do there ? ......
After that , show the students some pictures of interesting places in China . Let the students talk about them freely .
Step 2 Practice
Part A1 : Let the students listen to the CD , make their correct choices .
Check the answer with the students together .
Step 3 Practice
Go through the table in Part A2 , let the students make sure what they are going to listen to . Then play the CD for them to get the information they need .
Play the CD for the second time to let the students check the answers by themselves .
Pair work : Give the students one more minute to exchange their answers each other .
Check the answers with the students together .
Play the CD again if necessary .
Step 4 Practice- Writing
Let the students go through Part A3 on their own . Then tell them they should use the information on Page 29 to finish this part .
Check the answers after they finish . Read loudly . Point out some key phrases and sentences . Maybe I can ask the students to make some sentences with this key phrases .
Step 5 Speak up
After finishing Part A , offer the students a few minutes to practice speaking English .
First , let them go through the dialogue . Then let the students talk about their own holiday plans .
Report their results .
Homework :
1. Revise the contents we’ve learned in this period .
2. Finish the exercises in Period 5 in workbook .
