教学过程

Step 1 阅读 Getting ready板块的图文,了解单元话题。

学生观察第81页的卡通图,阅读Hi和Lo的对话,回答下列问题,学生认读和理解单词low。

* Where are Hi and Lo? (They are in the study.)

* What does Hi mean by "lm low" ?(He means that he feels depressed)

* Why does he feel low?(Because he has a lot of homework to finish.)

* Why does Lo say "you're Hi. I'm Lo!"?(Because he thinks that Hi said his name was Lo.)

Step 2 完成读前活动,激活背景知识。

1.教师呈现下列向题。学生根据自己的实际情况回答问题。

* Did you have a good sleep?

* Do you enjoy your meals?

* Do you shout at others when something bad happens to you?

* Do you often lose your temper and cry out?

* Do you have a good memory?

* Do you often have no desire to do anything?

* Do you often feel out of place among your classmates?

* Do you often feel low before an exam takes place?

2.学生开展“头脑风暴”,思考并讨论问题 What should we do to fight stress?

3.学生完成 What do you know about...?部分的练习A1,并口头汇报答案。学生认读和理解单词 quarrel。

4.学生四人一组,辨认毎幅图中哪位学生存在精神压力,并说说判断的理由。

5.学生两人一组,讨论 What do you know about...?部分练习A2的三个问题。
