Show a picture of a lovely girl and introduce her to the students. “The girl is Sandy.She loves reading novels very much. Now she is reading an English novel called Gulliver’s Travels.”
Show the pictures of this book and its writer.
“The book mainly talks about Gulliver’s amazing stories in some strange countries.It was written by an English writer Jonathan Swift.”
Today we will read an extract(选段) from the book together with Sandy .It’s Gulliver in Lilliput.
