1. Have a revision about some manners that we have learned yesterday.

2. Enjoy a video: what’s the video mainly about?

Step 3. Presentation

1. Pre-reading:

(1). Look through the whole passage and answer the questions:

a. What type of passage is it?

b. What's the interview about?

(2). Read silently and match the manners with the lines.

2. While-reading:

(1). Line 1---Line 6(Read by yourselves):

a. how to greet people

b. Do you know any other greetings?(问候语)

(2). Line 7---Line 9: how to start a conversation

(3). Line 10---Line 11: how to behave in public

(4). Line 18---Line 19:

a. how to behave at home

b. Do you often say “please” or “thank you” at home?

Is it necessary(有必要的) for you to say “please” or “thank you” at home?

3. Post-reading: Millie is reading Daniel‘s circle(朋友圈) about today's interview with Jenny. But her screen is dirty. Some words are missing. Help her finish it.

Step 4. Production

Group work: show some pictures

Step 6. Homework

Finish the exercises in the workbook.
