Step1: Presentation

1. Translate the sentences.

(1) You are old enough to look after yourselves.

(2) You are old enough to learn about manners.

2. Tell Ss that we use “ be + adjective + enough + to-infinitive” to describe a person’s personality and ability

3. Translate the sentences.

(1) She is too young to go to school.

(2) The room is too small for us to live in.

4. Tell Ss that we use “be + too + adjective + to-infinitive”to express a negative result. Sometimes we need to add “for someone” before the “to do sth”.
