Look at the following pictures. What are they doing? What do you think of them?

Purpose: To arouse students’ interest and lead in the topic of this lesson. To create a kind of lively atmosphere. More important is to activate the students’ prior knowledge.

Step 2: Presentation (about 4 mins)

Activity 1. Read, translate and think

T: What’s the similarity(相似点) among the three sentences?

Purpose: To get more knowledge about “enough…to…”. To make them more active in thinking about the use of this pattern.

Step 3: Practice (about 10 mins)

Activity 1: Look and say: Make sentences with “enough… to”

Purpose: To get the students to talk about pictures using “enough…to…”. To help them build up confidence by choosing the topics they have learnt before.
