情感目标

通过学习enough to,too…to句式,使学生学会观察周围的人,学会发现别人的优点和缺点,进而学会欣赏别人和完善自己, 做文明的人。

教学准备

Multimedia, chalk, the paper with new words and phrases, PPT

教学步骤

Step = 1 ﹨* ROMAN I Lead-in

T: Good afternoon, boys and girls! Nice to meet you . (与一位同学问好)

S: Nice to meet you.

T: What is your name,please?(请该同学把他的名字写在黑板上,字越小越好,最好看不见)

S: My name is…

T: Wow , your words are too small to see.(同时板书too…to )

T: What’s your name? (与另一名同学对话,并且请该同学把名字写在黑板上,越大越好)

S:….

T: Well, your words are big enough to see. (板书enough + to )

此环节的设计有师生对话引出本课教学目标the verb to be+ too +adje ctive +to-infinitive., be + adjective + enough + to –infinitive 的用法,同时通过让学生在学习中体会学习的乐趣。(用时2分钟)

Step = 2 ﹨* ROMAN II Presentation

T :What does Eddie say to Hob o bef ore he mentions the good manners?

S: You are old enough to learn about manners. (板书)

T: What’ll British people do if you are in their way?

S: If you are in their way, British people will be polite enough to wait till you move.(板书并且领读)

T: Can you find the similarity between the two sentences? What is it?

T and S: be + adjective + enough + to –infinitive

T: What can we use this pattern to describe?

T: We can use this pattern to describe a person’s personality and abilities.

此环节通过回顾课本comic 部分,用学生熟悉的句子来呈现本节课要学的重点句型,让学生的学习有一个渐进的过程,避免对新知识过于陌生。(用时3分钟)
