Step1.Lead-in

Greet students as usual.

Show some pictures and then let students distinguish good manners or bad manners.

Present two groups of publics signs and ask the students to know the meanings and notice the differences between them.

Step2.Pre-Listening

Have a competition among groups to help the students predict the places where the signs may appear.

Ask the students to introduce the places they have written to the whole.

Step3.While-listening

Listen and fill in the blanks in PartA1.

Listen to Part2 and complete the blanks.

Find out the features,usages of public signs.

Step4.Post-listening

Complete part A3 according to partA1 and A2.

Step1.Pre-listening

Show a picture and let them predict what the public signs may appear in the art museum.

Step2.while-listening

Listen to the recorder and answer following questions

What else dose Amy tell Shirley?

Invite some pairs to act it out and the students should pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.

Step3.Post-listening

Make and show a new conversation by using given information.
