Step 1 导入:
教师展示一张希望工程的图片,问学生:
Do you know what this project is? Who does this project help?
启发学生回答:It’s Project Hope. It helps poor students go to school.
教师说:Besides poor students, there are a lot of people who need our help around us. How can we help them? 让学生两人一组讨论,教师指定学生回答。
Step 3 呈现:
教师展示A部分的图片,教授新知识。以第一幅图为例,教师说:Look at this picture. Can you tell me what is wrong with the person in the picture? 引导学生回答:The man can’t walk.教师说:We call this man a disabled person.板书生词disabled.
以同样的方式依次呈现其余的五个词汇,呈现完毕后,教师带读生词。
学生独立完成A部分的练习。
Step 3 活动:
告诉学生, Amy and Daniel are talking about how to help homeless people. Listen to their conversation and tell the way to help them.播放B部分的录音,让学生听录音后回答。
问学生: How can we help other people mentioned in part A? 让学生呢个两人呢一组。模仿B部分的对话新编一段对话。
导入漫画部分的生词。教师说: Do you think it’s meaningful to help others? 学生回答后,教师继续说: We should support those who help others, and we should try our best to help others in our daily lives.教师板书并且带读生词。
Step 4 家庭作业:
记忆词汇,词组和句型。
熟读Comic strip 和B部分相关对话。
预习Reading。
