Put the word card on the left board.

Show some pictures (on PPT slides 5-13) of national flags and famous things in one country to help identify different countries. (China, Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Russia, Japan, America, Australia)

Put these words in the sentence pattern:

--- Where is sb. from?/ Where does sb. come from?

--- He is from …/ He comes from …

Model the pronunciation of the new words.

Read the sentences together.

Then stick the word cards on the left board.
