Step1: Warm-up

Ask students to look at four pictures,and talk about what can we do for these people? then let them get to know the first sentence:

It is necessary to help the people in need.

If you want to help more people,you can try to be a volunteer.

Do you want to be a volunteer?

Step2: Presentation: It is + adj. + to do sth[

1. As volunteers,First We should be warm-hearted!Because It’s meaningful to work as a volunteer.

2.Share my experience as a volunteer with students, then ask them to try to use the same sentence structure to describe these behaviours.

It's right to give seats to the elderly.

It's good to help the blind cross the road.

It's helpful to donate money to charities.

It's proper to take care of a lost pet.

It's important to plant more trees.

It's necessary to keep parks clean.

Try to work out the rule of these sentences : It is + adj. + to do sth[来

We can use ‘It's +adj.+to do sth.’ to talk about the feeling of doing sth.

Task1:Discussion

Show some pictures of volunteers’ work, ask students what do you think of volunteers’ work? Try to use the sentence structure: It is + adj. + to do sth[

Step 3:Presentation:It is + adj.+for sb + to do sth
