1. Play a video
T: Yesterday, some students in our class talked about what they could do to help people in our daily lives. Let’s watch the short video. After watching it, fill a chart.
2. Pairwork
Ask students to think about who else needs help. Then ask them to choose the ones they want to help and make a conversation with their partners.
Step 2 Pre-listening
Show some pictures about children in poor areas. Ask students to think about their lives and needs. Then lead to the necessarily of volunteer teachers.

Before listening, ask students some tips for listening, such as looking through the questions and options carefully and having a guess, etc.
