Step 1 Lead-in
Show students a picture of Hong Kong Disneyland.
Show students a passage “A day at Hong Kong Disneyland ”.
Students read aloud the passage.
Ask students some questions:
How many parts is the passage made up of? What are they?
Can you find the transition words that show us the time?班级总共25人,学生基础较好,属于学校的A层学生,每组5人,共五组,分组讨论便于调动学生的气氛。
学生在牛津八下第二单元学过reading 文章,导入新课的学习,联系以前学过的知识,激活学生对于学习新知识的渴望,让学生易于接受。同时,从文章结构提问入手,逐步引出本节课学习重点,如何架构文章的主体部分。

Let students pay attention to the time order words.
Show students a passage about Millie’s hobby and ask students to choose the proper time order words.
