Tell the students that besides these people, there are also other people who need our help.
Then present some new words: survivor, disease, operation.

Step 3 Pre- Writing
Say there are so many people who need our help including Xiao Wei. Ask Who is Xiao Wei? Why does he need our help? When Peter knows about his information, he writes a letter to ask for help. Listen to the recording, and answer the questions.
