What people does ORBIS help?
ORBIS treats(治疗) people with blindness or other eye problems around the world , mostly in poor areas. Modern medicine (医学) is developing (发展) quickly. Most cases (病例) can be prevented or cured(治愈). However, many people can’t afford ( 支付得起,买得起) for the medical treatment(医疗).
How does ORBIS help others?
ORBIS uses its Flying Eye Hospital(飞行眼科医院) to visit poor areas. They operate on (给…做手术) the patients (病人) on board (在船/飞机/火车/汽车上).The ORBIS workers feel proud(自豪的)to help people see again.
