3. Aims of the emotion:
(1)To encourage students to try to use passive voice after learning and know how to do their exercises about passive voice.
4.Teaching emphasis
1). To master how to use passive voice : be done (by sb)
2). To ask students to pay attention to the tense while using passive voice.
5. Teaching difficulties
1).Let students know two basic parts of passive voice: be done. While using passive voice , neither of them can be dropped.
2). Ask students to pay attention to different forms of ‘be’ and the forms of past participate.

Step1: Greetings (T/Ss)
Step2: Lead- in
T: Show the four sentences that they have just learned in recent days to the students. Ask them to read and find out.
Some students translated the sentences one by one .
T: Draw a summary : The four sentences all have the meaning被…it’s the main point that we are going to learn today.
(The purpose is to let the students be able to find out the rule that they have just learned by themselves and lead to what we are going to learn today naturally.)
Step3: Presentation
1. T: Now I will show you a picture of a boy.
T: We call the boy Tom. (Active voice)
We can also say : The boy is called Tom. ( Passive voice)
2. T: Show the definition of Passive voice in Chinese with examples.
Ask the students to read and try to understand.
(The purpose is to let the students have a clear definition of passive voice)
(on Bb: Active voice: Sb do sth / Passive voice: sth be done)
3. Show some sentences to the students and ask them to judge which is active voice and which is passive voice.
(The purpose is to let the students know the difference between active voice and passive voice.)
