Show pictures of animals, then say the title of unit5. Then enjoy an English song I have a pet.(video)Then ask the students to answer the question: What kinds of animals can you see in the video?
Step3. Learn new words.
1. present the new words by showing the pictures of animals.(read one by one)
2.Practice the new words by matching the words with the animals.(通过匹配练习,巩固已学的动物名称)Finish 1a, then check the answers.
3. .Practice the new words by listening. Finish 1b. Listen and check the animals you hear.(通过听力练习巩固所学动物名称)
4.Guessing game. Guess what animal it is.
