Step1 Lead-in

Step2 Pre-writing
1. Discuss : How did you write a composition before?
What should we focus on when writing?
2. Show today’s task.
Step3 While-writing
1. Help students to analyze the requirements about the composition.
2. Ask students to list outline and some keywords and present some of them.
3. Ask them to make sentences with the keywords which are related to today’s topic and guide them to change some sentences into better ones.
4. Show them how to put these sentences together to form paragraph.
5. Ask students to write this composition according to the information given on the paper by themselves.
Step4 Post-writing
1. Finish the composition and self-check, then work in pairs to correct.
2. Choose some students’ compositions to the class. (If time permitted)
3. Make a summary about the lesson.
