Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Greeting and warming up

T:(wave to the class)hello,everyone!

Ss:(wave to me)and reply hello,Ms Luo!

T:Introduce the topic “a green world”,explain the word ”green”

T plays a video about paper and homework.

Ss watch the video.

T and Ss talk about the video.

T:How can we live a green life? (show some pictures on PPT about using less paper and plant more trees)

Ss:use less paper and plant more trees.

T:What else can we do to live a green life?(show two pictures about recycling waste)

Ss:We can recycle waste.

T:teach the word “recycle”

T show a piece of news about recycling waste. Ask Ss to read aloud the news.

T shows some pictures about new words,teaches new words by

talking about the pictures and writes the words on the blackboard.

Step 2 Comic strip

T shows two pictures on PPT,and says:Hobo has a trowel,see? Takes out a black plastic bag,and asks : guess what do I have?
