1. Then watch 2 videos about the topics of protecting the earth and the World Environment Day.;
2. Ask ss. to have a discussion about the videos;
3. Ask some volunteers to say something about the videos;
4. Then show the questions: Do you know how to live a green life ?
Then show some pictures in Part A, ask students to say out the sentences, then read them through and keep in mind.
Then deal with Part B , the dialogue
Listen to the tape Practice and act it out in pairs
Show some more pictures , esp. some recycling in our school, then have a further discussion about a green life, try to say some more sentences about the pictures, encourage the students to say more.
Step 2 Production and summary
Let’s make a speech on the ways of a green life. They can use the following tree to help them organize their ideas.
Remind the ss what other ways they think they can do to go green? Think about food, clothing, shelter and transportation. They are our basic needs. They can use more information here.
