Ask students to skim the text and answer the question:“When is World Environment Day?”
Ask students to finish the exercises B1, if they don’t the meanings of some words, they can talk with their desk mates, then check the answers with all class.
Ask students to scan the text again, then do the match - find the main points of the paragraphs.
Ask students to read Paragraph1 together and ask the questions:1). What is Switzerland like? 2). What do people there try to do?
Play the tape of the Paragraph 2,3,4 and ask students to read each paragraph by themselves ,then do different exercises.
