Step 2: Present the aims of the lesson
Know how to form the passive voice in different tenses
Know how to form V.pp
Know how to change the active voice into the passive voice.
Step 3: Brainstorm the forms of the passive voice in different tenses
Simple present tense: am/is/are done
Simple past tense: was/were done
Present perfect tense: have/has been done
Simple future tense: will/shall be done; be going to be done
Sentences that contain modal verbs: modal verbs+be done
Work out the rule: The tense of the verb “be” determines the tense of the passive voice.
Step 4: Exercises: Make up sentences in the passive voice in different tenses
Step 5: revise how to form V.pp
regular verbs & irregular verbs
Step 6: How to change the active voice into the passive voice?
Example: I like Kungfu. -- Kungfu is liked by me.
Rule: 宾变主,主变宾,宾前加by动变被,看清be, 结构分别be+ V.pp
