When to use the passive voice.
Step 3 presentation
Show some pictures about pollution in the world. Give students the key words and let them make sentences with passive voice.
List the four important points when using the passive voice. With some exercises after each point, students can easily remember them.
No.1 (复合宾语一) 省 to 的动词不定式
Eg. make sb do sth变被动 sb be made to do sth
No.2 (复合宾语二)
Eg. see sb doing sth 变被动 sb be seen doing sth
No.3 双宾语.。如遇双宾语,最好变间宾,如若变直宾,间宾前加to/for
No.4 动词与介词搭配的短语,不能遗漏介词。
Pay attention to some special words and phrases which are often in active voice.
Practise these ponts in different forms of sentences.
Step 4 discussion.
Watch a video and think about the environment in China.
Talk about situations in China in time order.
What was done in the past?
What is done when we realize the importance of protecting the environment?
What has been done recently?
What will be done in the future?
Give them some examples and then have them say something about the environment in China.
Step 5 activity
Make a poster to help more people understand the importance of protecting the environment, including what can be done to go green.
Step 6 homework
Complete your posters after class.
Do some relative exercises of the passive voice.
