教学过程:
Step1. Lead-in
Show two pictures, and tell us which place would you like to live in? Why?
Pollution has become serious all around the world. What can you do for the environment in your daily lives?
Step2. Doing a survey
Do you have habits of protecting the environment? I want to know how many of you have these habits. So I make a survey. Put your hands up to let me know.
Step3. Listening
The Class 1, Grade 8 students want to do a survey on daily habits too. When will it start? Where will they meet? How many students will attend it? How many questions will be asked? Listen carefully. Pay attention to the expression of time and numbers.
What is the result? Pay attention to the numbers. They must be smaller than 50. Listen carefully.
Step4. A survey report
Help Daniel and Sandy complete the report by using the information of PartA1&A2.
At the beginning of the class, we did a survey on your daily habits. Work in groups of four, and write a report of the results of the suevey, then report it.
Step5 Listening
We’ve learnt alot about what you can do to protect the environment. Are there any other ways to protect it? Listen to Sandy and Amy’s conversation and answer questions. What do they want to do? Why do they want to do like that?
Step6 Making up a dialogue
This class, we talked about many ways to protect the environment. Work in pairs and talk about the actions you can take.
