Step1 Lead-in

1.Have a free talk: If we want a green world, What should we do?

2.Ask students to write a short passage: How to live a green life?

3.Exchange the passage with the deskmate and check.

Step2 Presentation

Present pictures about ways of green life: drop litter into dustbin, ride a bike, take one’s own bag when shopping, separate waste into different groups, give the used toys to the little children, save energy, plant more trees.

Emphasise the most important way: To plant more trees

Did you know that trees can help protect the environment? Trees can reduse dust and keep the air clean, They help keep soil in place during storm.Trees also provide wood build our homes, and they are homes to birds and other animals. Planting trees is really good for the environment. Many countries have laws to protect trees. If people in Switzerland cut out trees, they will be punished.

Let’s plant more trees. I think our planet will look more nice with more trees around.
