Step I Lead-in
1. Greet students.
2. Show the students some photos of Switzerland and lead in the new lesson by asking a question.

Step II Presentation
1. Learn five types of mistakes
W = word usage mistake（单词使用错误）
M = missing word（少词漏词错误）
G = grammatical mistake（语法方面错误）
P = punctuation mistake（标点符号错误）
S = spelling mistake（单词拼写错误）
2. Give students some sentences with five types of mistakes written by themselves.

Step III Practice
1. Millie’s article
T: Read Millie’s article on Page 117. Find and correct the mistakes.(Work in groups of four)
T: Read the revised article together.
2.Practice makes perfect.
Present a student’s writing on planting trees.
3. Correct the mistakes
T: Work in groups of four. Find and correct the mistakes.
T: Point out the mistakes, decide the types of mistakes and make the corrections.
【Purpose：Improve students’ abilities of finding mistakes,identifying mistakes,correcting mistakes by discussing in groups.】
Step IV Consolidation
Try their best to correct more sentences.
Do the exercises on the paper to help them consolidate what they have learnt.
2. Checking time
(1) Check your work by yourself.
