四.教学准备:多媒体课件、教学道具(牛仔、鬼魂、骷髅头面具,糖果,纸袋等)

五.教学步骤:

Step1: Lead-in

let three students act as a cowboy、a ghost and a skeleton separately. Then teacher invite them to the classroom and interview them .

T: What are you doing?

S: we are playing the game “trick or treat”.

T: why do you play it?

S: Because it is Halloween today. We are going to get some candies, cookies, fruit or money from our neighbors. If they don not give us, we will play a trick with them. It is very interesting.

T: That sounds very excited. How are you going to play a trick with your neighbors?

S: We will soap windows, write on doors with crayons, overturn rubbish bins, or stick pins into doorbells to keep them ringing.

T: Have fun. And don not play any pranks.

(设计思路:通过这三名同学的装扮以及教师与他们的对话,激发学生的兴趣,使他们有一种想要参与其中的欲望,吸引了学生的注意力,为本文的学习奠定了良好的基础。)

Step2: Presentation

Let students learn the learning goals to know about the contents of this class. Ask some students to read the new words and phrases in learning goals to check their prevision, at the same time, teacher can help students to correct their mistakes to solve words' problem.

(教学思路:通过教学目标、重难点的学习可以使学生对本节课有一个整体上的认识,也帮助学生消灭了词汇问题,为本课的学习奠定了基础。)

Step3: Listening

1. Ask students to listen to the tape for the first time to know about the general idea of the text. (Just listen!)

2. Ask students to Listen to paragraph 1 and answer the following questions:

(1). When did the story happen?

(2). Was Mrs. Brown knitting then?

(3). How many children are there in the story?

3. Let students to listen to paragraph 2-7 and answer the following questions:

(1). What did Mrs. Brown give them?

(2). What color are the paper bags?

(3). Who are the three children?

4. Listen to paragraph 8 and answer the following question:

What are the tricks and treats?

5. Play the tape again and ask students to read the text after the tape to know about the text better.

(教学思路:培养学生的听力技能,并让学生对本课有初步的认识,了解了本文的大意。)
