教学设计
Step 1 lead-in
Show some pictures about the situation of the environment at present ,get students to say what they can see or know from the pictures .
Teacher tells our environment is changing for the worse ,what should we do ? Help students to answer “Protect the environment.”
Step 2 Presentation
Ask:How can we go green ?
students work in pairs to get the ideas : save water ,save power ,reduce pollution ,develop a green lifestyle and so on .
Discuss each step ,what should we do to save water /power/reduce pollution ?( Show some pictures to give the ideas )
T says : The Class 1,Grade8 students are going to give a presentation on how to go green ,let’s read Millie’s notes .
Read and practice ,then get students to retell each part : For example ,we can save water by turning off the tap or taking shorter showers.
Step 3 Finish Millie’s script
According to Millie’s ideas ,try to finish her script ,check the answers .
Practice reading ,then get one or two students to retell .
Step 4 Writing
Enjoy some pictures to call on more people to protect the environment .
Hope students can get some new ideas to organize their writing plans.
It’s time to write the composition.
Step5 Show time
Get 2-3 students to show their compositions .
Students check and correct the mistakes ,then give the points .
