Step 3 Part A 1-2
1. Say: “Colour can change your moods and improve your life, Mrs. Rainbow is a colour therapist (on the Bb).” A therapist helps people improve their health, mood and appearance by using colours.
2. Explain to the students that paper at the top of Page 25 is an advertisement. Ask a student to read the advertisement out aloud. Then ask some questions about the advertisement,
e.g. Where is the therapy center? What’s the price?
Where can you get more information about the therapy center?
3. Get the students to complete Millie’s notes. Remind them that they will not be able to complete all the notes based on the advertisement.
4. Play the recording and ask the students to complete the rest of the notes.
Step 4 Part A3
Play the recording for the students to circle the correct answer.
Listen to the tape of Part A3 twice and try to write down the questions.
(1)What does Mrs Rainbow do , Millie?
(2)Really? How does she do that?
(3)I’m feeling very tired this week.. What should I do to get a good night’s sleep?
(4)Daniel is not happy this week. What should he do?
(5)What other kinds of colour therapy does Mrs Rainbow do?
(6)I’d like to try it, but what if the therapy doesn’t work?
3. Check and read them out.
Step 5 Speak up.

2.Divide the class into pairs. Ask students to make suggestions about clothing and talk about preferences, using Millie and Andy’s conversation as a model. Ask students to role-play their own conversation.
