1. Lead—in :呈现下列练习,让学生用适当的连词完成句子。

4. He always thinks ______ he can do better.(how, who)

7. We are talking about ______ we’ll go back tomorrow. (whether, if)

8. I was really surprised at ______ I saw. (where, what)

2.Presentation and practice.

根据上述练习,教师组织学生进行讨论并归纳总结连接代词和连接副词的基本用法。

3.Part B:

(1)学生朗读课本第40页各连接代词和连接副词引导的例句,让学生试着解释每个连接代词和连接副词的意思。

(2)学生讨论,分析连接代词做主语和做宾语的时候后面句子语序的变化。

(3)学生讨论 用 why not, why don’t you 和perhaps 来提建议。

※ why not / why don’t you 后跟动词原形,也是提出建议的两种方式,表示“为什么不……”, 两者可以互换。

※perhaps 是提出建议的另一种方式,表示“或许,可能,也许”。

四、拓展探究

1.让学生独立完成第40页练习并核对答案。

2.学生独立完成A2&A3 练习,核对答案。
