知识目标:学生能掌握一些词汇及短语:anything, grow, around,else, quite, farm, farming, milked a cow, rode a horse, fed chickens, went for a walk, talked with a farmer, took some photos.

能力目标:学生理解并能运用一般过去时态

情感目标:能体会合理利用节假日时间,多参加有益身心健康的户外郊游活动的重要性。

The simple past tense

教学过程:

Step 1: Review

Review some words we’ve learned last class

设计意图:回顾上节课所学单词,为本节课做铺垫。

Step 2: Lead-in

Ask students some questions. We had a study tour last year,so how was the study tour? Was it interesting? Because the thing happened in the past, we’ve got to use the simple past tense, which is the key and important point in this class.

Play a game: Find the simple past tense. Two students have a PK.

设计意图:通过学生轻身经历的事情引出本次课的话题,容易引起学生的共鸣。再通过游戏环节激发学生的学习热情和兴趣。

Step3: Presentation:

Teach new phrases with a game of match, like: went for a walk, milked a cow, rode a horse, fed chickens, talked with a farmer, took some photos.

Give students 1 minute and see how many phrases they can remember.

设计意图:输入新词,为下一步的图词配对练习做准备,挑战记忆游戏,可以增加学生的记忆兴趣和记忆效率。

Step 4: Consolidation

Students work on 1a quickly and then check the answers.

Listen and finish 1b, then check the answers.

设计意图:通过练习和听力巩固所学词组。

Step 5:Work in pairs

Students work in pair to make a conversation like 1C.

Invite some pairs to role-play their conversation.

设计意图:通过角色扮演进一步巩固重点短语,并能训练学生的口头表达能力。

Step 6:Enjoy a song

Students listen to a song <>, and try to find out the simple past tense in the lyrics.

设计意图:歌曲能愉悦学生身心,在欣赏歌曲的同时感受一般过去时态的用法。
