Books allow me to learn about people in different times and places, and I can read them whenever I want to.
[设计理念]
在教学中，主要采用任务型教学和情景式教学相结合。“任务型”课堂教学模式是将英语的教学目标整合到一个或多个具体的活动任务当中，使学生在使用英语完成任务的同时，在不知不觉中学会英语，更主要的是培养学生在完成任务的过程中提高运用英语的学习紧迫感。另外，通过让学生编诗歌，给学生一定的自由度来创造性地运用所学的知识，使学生感受到学英语即是用英语。
[设计思路]
根据我校学生的实际，课的开始检查一下预习情况，然后直接引出课题以及本节课学生要掌握的内容，通过在Free talk中引出话题，并通过Harry Potter过渡到了解世界的方法。成长不仅有好处——了解世界，也会有烦恼，通过Eddie的烦恼引申出自己的烦恼，把漫画和Welcome部分有机地串联起来。

Whenever I have time, I will turn on the computer. As soon as I click the mouse, I can see people in different times. I can learn about the history and culture of other countries. I can learn what is happening in China and around the world.
