2.Some key words ,phrases and sentence structures.

Difficult points: Encourage students to organize ideas and express them clearly .

Teaching procedures :

Step1 Lead in

T:Hello everyone! Before having the class,let’s enjoy some pictures,Ok?

Ss: Ok.

(Show some groups of pictures of the students with light music. One was taken when he/she was young and the other was taken the other day. During watching the photos ,the students must be excited and surprised.)

设计意图: 通过配乐呈现学生们小时候的照片和现在的照片,激发学生们的上课热情。同学,不同学生们的小时候照片和最近的照片进行对比,让学生感受到成长的变化,视觉上给他们以直观的感受。

Step2:Presentation

T: Just now , we enjoyed some photos of you. From the pictures , can you feel some changes? In other words , what changes happened to you?

S1: We become taller.

S2: We are stronger than before.

S3:We know much more knowledge than before.

S4:... S5:...

T: Great. We have changed a lot in physical and mental, right?

Ss: Yes.

T: As we growing up , we know much. But how do we learn about the world? For example, I like to learn about the world by travelling. In my free time , I often go to different places to enjoy myself. (show some pictures of places of interest) Have you ever been there?

Ss: Yes/ No.

T:Before going the place I want to go , I will search for some information on the Internet. For example, if I want to go to Zhangjiajie , I will type the key words in the box ...(show the sentence )

As soon as I type the key words in the box, I will find a great deal of information through the Internet. (teach students the key phrases: as soon as; a great deal of ...)

(show a picture of me taken in Taiwan)

By travelling I can earn more about history and cultures; I can enjoy the beauty of nature; make new friends on the way...

How do your learn about the world?

设计意图:通过举例说明自己通过旅游来了解世界,鼓励并引导学生表达各种了解世界的不同途径。锻炼学生的口语表达能力并为后面的情景对话积累素材。
