1) Showing the picture of Li Yong (李咏)
Ask: Who is he ? What does he do ?
Say: Yes. He is a host. He hosts Special 6+1.
Ask: Where is he working ? Ss: Beijing .
T: Yes.He is working at CCTV Station .
2) Showing the pictures of CCTV Station and the sign of TV Station and the sign of TV channel.
Say: CCTV Station channel broadcasts his programmes. (broadcast--- send out programmes on radio or TV)
3) Showing the picture of a studio .
Ask: Where are TV programmes made ? Ss: They are often made in a room.
T: Yes. A studio is a room where TV programmes are made.
Showing the pictures of TV and a remote control.
Ask: What is it ? And what’s this ? Ss: TV and remote control.
T: Remote control is something that controls a machine from a long distance and change TV channels .
Say: Distance means a bit / a little far place .
