1. Show some pictures about different kinds of TV programmes, ask students to tell what type of programme it is.

Step 2. Presentation
1. Would you like to know the TV viewing habits of some students at Sunshine Middle School? Here are some information about three students. Read the following table carefully and finish their profile. (a memory testing)
2. Reading the information form again, guess what type of TV programme the three students like according to their hobbies. And fill in the blanks that you know first.
Step 3. Listening
Play the tape for the students. Ask students to listen carefully and finish Part A2. Then check the answers in class.
Step 4. Practicing
