教学重难点:能够阅读文章,并了解Cindy的饮食习惯;通过询问记录他人的饮食状况,提升自我健康意识和写作能力。

教学过程:

Step1 leading in

Review the words: salad, bananas, pears, hamburgers…

Ask students to say them aloud by standing up.

Step2 Presentation

Give them 1min to finish 1a. which food do you think is healthy ?

healthy food: vegetables…

unhealthy food:hamburgers….

(For example:

Apples are healthy food.

Hamburgers are unhealthy food

Step3. Before reading

circle the food words quickly on the paper, then answer the questions

1. Does Cindy eat we11?

2. Does Cindy like ice-cream?

Step4 Skimming

Reading the article carefully,

Then complete 2c and check the answers.

Step 5:Group work

Finish3a,ask them to make a new conversation with their group members. Then show a picture of running man. Practice the sentences: What does she have for breakfast/ lunch/dinner. She has milk…..for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

Then finish 3b.
