学情分析:
六年级学生刚升入中学,精力旺盛,求知欲强,学生们对英语文章的阅读策略掌握得还不多,但是对英语阅读的材料比较感兴趣,特别喜欢贴近生活实际的素材。所以,学生们对本课的学习热情还是很高的。
教学重点:
(1)词汇: Mr. clothes, store, buy, sale, sell, all, very, price, boy
(2)句型: Come and buy your clothes at our great sale! We have black trousers for only $22. Socks are only $2 for three pairs.
教学难点:
表述物品的价格。
教学过程:
1. Leading-in
(1) Revise the numbers.
T: Get the Ss to write the words according to the numbers.
Ss: Write the words, spell and repeat.
设计意图:对之前所学的数字进行复习,为本节课表述衣物的价格做必要的准备。而且这个环节所选的数字多数为特殊的单词,帮助学生强化和巩固所学内空。
(2) Pair work
T: Show the PPT and get the Ss to ask and answer how much these clothes are.
Ss: Work in pair to ask and answer.
设计意图:通过两人问答来复习寻问和表述物品价格的两种基本表达方式,为本课的学习做好准备。
2. Reading
(1) Pre-reading
T: Get the Ss to much each clothing with a price and talk about the prices.
Ss: Match and talk about the prices.
设计意图:通过比较来明确物品的合理价格,从而理解SALE的含义。
(2 ) Presentation
T: Show the statements and teach the new words and expressions of this lesson.
Ss: Read, listen and learn.
设计意图:提炼课文中的新词及短语帮且学生学习、理解、掌握和运用新知。
(3) Listening
T: Play the record and get the Ss to fill in the price tags.
Ss: Listen and fill the tags.
设计意图:训练学生听的能力。通过听短文,捕捉关键信息,提高学生对英文数字的敏感度。
