Step 1 Leading in
To raise students’ interest, show a short video about robots(.A great beauty----Jiajia) on the screen and get students thinking and talking about robots and ask some students to show their answers. Encourage the open expressions of ideas.
Step 2 Presentation
Use the Multi-media to show many pictures of robots to the students. Help the students know that a robot can do a lot of things for humans.(Teach new words)
2.Show some phrases to the students and use some pictures and body languages to help the students to understand them.
Robot pets, robot cleaner, robot worker,robot explorer,explore dangerous places, iron shirts, know everything, look after children, make the bed,remember everything well, sweep the floor, wash the dishes
Step 3 Presentation
Listen to the conversation between Daniel and Amy then answer questions and check answers.
Listen and follow it and role play .
Make a dialogue with partner and act it out.
Step 4 Presentation
Listen to Eddie and Hobo’s conversation and answer some questions.
Listen again and check answers.
3. Ask the students to practice reading the dialogue in pairs.
